Victeam VR is an immersive application created by three students in Digital Creation Master I at University of Savoie Mont Blanc in Chambéry and it’s selected to be exhibited at the Laval Virtual 2019. In this installation, you enter a world annihilated by war. Through your interaction is to be formed a network and an entrenchment between two worlds. Between construction and deconstruction, a whirlwind of the particle will build the narrative. But then, what will be the consequences of your actions? In this device, the player himself confronts the experience. Through his interaction, he undergoes a progressive deconstruction of his own world and been offered to enter the presence that is just above him. This virtual work aims to gives the audience a sensory experience that made possible by virtual reality. But this reality will be challenged by its limitations and illusions. How do the elements represent in virtual reality which reflects an illusion and a simulation?
Victeam VR est une application immersive créé par trois étudiants en Master I Création Numérique à l’université de Savoie Mont-Blanc à Chambéry et sélectionné pour être exposé au Laval Virtual 2019. Dans cette installation, vous vous introduisez dans un monde anéanti par la guerre. Par votre interaction sont créés un réseau et un enchâssement entre deux univers. Entre la construction et la déconstruction, un tourbillon de particule construira le récit. Mais alors, qu’elles seront les conséquences de vos actions ? Dans ce dispositif, le joueur se confronte à l’experience. Par son interaction, il subit une déconstruction progressive de son propre monde et pour l’offrir à la présence qui se situe juste au-dessus de lui. Cette œuvre virtuelle à pour intention de partager avec les spectateurs une expérience sensorielle rendue possible par la réalité virtuelle. Mais cette réalité sera remise en question par ses limites et ses illusions. De quelle manière les éléments représentés dans la réalité virtuelle sont le reflet d’une illusion et d’une simulation ?
